Accounts Assistant, 30-31K – Glasgow

P&L Recruitment are working exclusively with a rapidly expanding organisation based in Finnieston, Glasgow to recruit a full-time permanent Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced good all-rounder to join a small friendly team and have the autonomy to make the role "their own". This is an office-based role within a collaborative team culture.

The main duties:

  • Maintaining detailed and accurate financial records with clear audit trail
  • Purchase and sales ledger
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Monitoring cashflow
  • Providing financial reports to deadline
  • Running a small monthly payroll (10 staff)
  • Maintaining ISO 9001 & IIP standards
  • Some general administrative duties

The main requirements:

  • Previous accounts experience (at least 3 years)
  • Sage 50 experience is preferred
  • Good communicator with management, staff, clients and suppliers
  • Extremely proactive and driven
  • Accurate and thorough, with good attention to detail
  • Organised with ability to multi-task
  • Flexible and able to positively respond to change

The salary is up to £31K. depending on experience The hours are 9am to 5pm. My client offers a great team environment, and free onsite parking. If you have the experience, we would love to hear from you!
